Post 3310 eeprom content

Hi! I was given a 3310 with EEPROM area erased. I want to get it work. What hardware dependent data are stored in the eeprom (excluding IMEI)? I uploaded an other full flash of the same version to the phone, wrote back the original IMEI, but it still doesn't accept SIM card! (nor after partial flash)
What else should I write into the EEPROM?

Thanks,
Robbie

hi there

it seems there are 2 check sums in the 3310
so even if you write the complete eeprom from 2-6 then change the security imei back to original the phone will still have all for locks closed...

the only way (unless you got dajans second box) is to flash from 3d - 4 with the original backup...

but keep trying who knows mebe you could be the one to crack the escond checksum problem

Hi Zianna!

What do you mean by 2 chksums? IMEI is stored in EEPROM twice. (in different way,of course) Every section has its own chksum. Do you think of that two chksums? (the original and displayed? IMEI chksum?) Thanks for your reply!

Bye,
Robbie

PS: I wrote back all the two IMEIs (the normal and the XORed IMEI too) Chksum OK! No CS!

Am I thinking right? Correct me!
