3310 freezes in some menus after upgrade from 419 to 445??? - GSM-Forum

Is it because incompatibility of eeproms between these two versions?I downloaded the 445ppm from <a href="http://brad.satelit.cz" target="_blank">http://brad.satelit.cz</a> and update checksums via online logger(great work Brad and Lead!!!)and all was ok untill I tryed to set the screensaver-there was no pictures in screen saver menu not either in picture message menu(by default there should be some pictures-right?)and the phone has frozen when I tryed to confirm blanc screen? Lead wrote about eeprom format.Is that necessary in my case?How can I do this?One mor question:when I upload the ppm on which adress should it end-the same adress which eeprom begins with-example:in 3310 eeprom starts at 3d0000-should I write ppm to 3cffff or 3d0000?Will I damage eeprom if i write ppm to 3d0000?Thanx

I have the same problem. After upgrade all picture message and melodies are deleted. If you enter to menu "picture message" the phone froze.

I upload picture message via logomanager and phone work well.

no problem, but you must reset UI and SCM via NokiaTool.. some 3210,3310,3330 freezing after sw update, but after reset all is ok..
