What do you mean "imei is K and locks are K"? what does K mean?

have you done the FAID calc after you have upgraded/downgraded?

Did you make a full backup of your phone before u started playing around? If you did have you tried flashing it back? and if you flashed it back does it still keep resetting?

Sounds like the eeprom is corrupted.

What info do you get if u read the phone with nokiatool 034 or 035 (or rolis or whatever) - are both imei's ok?

Only thing i can suggest is to read another 3310 (read full phone incl eeprom area) and then use Nfree V1.2 (or similar program) to change the imei to the same as the broken phone - flash the new file into the broken phone and re-calc FAID.

Not sure if it will work - but it's what i'd try if i was stuck in your position.

good luck,

I don't have NFree 1.2 only NFree 1.3... any diff?

Correct me if im right... ur saying that I will read a full backup of another phone which includes eeprom (w/ different IMEI) then use NFree 1.2 to change imei of broken phone - then flash it to broken Phone... I will give it a try and post in result asap...

thanks a looooooooooot... i really appreciate ur help... <img src="rolleyes.gif" border="0">

Nfree 1.3 doesn't have the change imei option anymore.

As I said - I "think" that reading a full flash including the eeprom from a known good phone then changing imei to the same as the phone u want to reflash it into "should" work. I've never actually tried it cos i've always had a good backup to fall back on and never screwed an eeprom area. But I have seen it suggested a couple of times on other forums.

If the phone is still under warranty you could always "break it" so it doesn't switch on (flash some crap starting from 0020000 would do it) then geta nokia service centre to fix it

Regards

Just been looking through the Nfree info and it looks like it's support for 3310 is a bit limited or proven not to work.

Guess you could try it - the phones not working now - i don't think u can make it worse. (make a full backup of it now so at least u can always return to the state its in now)

Failing that only other option i can see is the nokia trip

Good luck

How did you calc FAID? Box or log?

If it was by log I'd advise you to repeat it...

Did you log it when it was partially unlocked?
