Hi, I Have a Nokia 3310 v4.19 with MSID:00000000000000101000000000 And Can't Find Network!!! Please Help ME!!! ---------------------------------- I do these but not repaired!!!: -Flashed it with MCU+PPM v4.02,After flashing,MSID is GOOD (Not 0000...),but Lock 1 is CLOSED & Lock 4 is FFFFFFF,and SIM CARD NOT ACCEPTED,I Calculated FAID in it,but not repaired,Then UNLOCKED it with NU2000 v1.15,Locks are GOOD but MSID seted to 0000... again!!! -Flashed it with MCU+PPM v4.35,After flashing,MSID is GOOD (Not 0000...),but Lock 1 is CLOSED & Lock 4 is FFFFFFF,and SIM CARD NOT ACCEPTED,I Calculated FAID in it,but not repaired,Then UNLOCKED it with NU2000 v1.15,Locks are GOOD but MSID seted to 00000... again!!! -Flashed it with MCU+PPM v4.19 (Original),After flashing,MSID is GOOD (Not 0000...),but Lock 1 is CLOSED & Lock 4 is FFFFFFF,and SIM CARD NOT ACCEPTED,I Calculated FAID in it,but not repaired,Then UNLOCKED it with NU2000 v1.15,Locks are GOOD but MSID seted to 000... again!!! -------------------------------------- After than,I Flashed it with 5.13 MCU PPM: -Flashed it with MCU+PPM v5.13,After flashing,Lock 1 is CLOSED & Lock 4 is FFFFFFF,and SIM CARD NOT ACCEPTED,Then UNLOCKED it ChavaL Solution AND CALCULATED FAID IN IT,Now Locks are GOOD and MSID IS GOOD,BUT CAN'T FIND NETWORK!!! --------------------------------------- Please HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!! step1 upgarade or downgrade with desired mcu ppm step2 read log from logger dont unlock before that step3 calculate faid and update your mobile step4 now unlock your phone

it is working for me

@gsnbhagawan I tested your solution,NOT WORKING!!! After Unlocking Phone,MSID Changes to : 000000...

Hi!

I had the same problem with a 3310 4.45... After i flashed the phone partially, the MS ID would change to 00000000000000101000000000, but it would not find network only on one of 3 networks here in Portugal... it would find network.. but would take ages...

I downgrade it to 4.35 but nothing... still the same...

But if i lock the phone back (with original partial) MSID would be ok again..

VsH-GsM: Try Leaving the phone searching for network... it will probablly find network... in automatic...

Another suggestion would be (i never did this) using new nokia solution (you know, FF's)... Maybe it will help you? I don't have any phone with that problem right now... but if have it back (or one with the same problem) i will do that...

i had this on the fiorst one i done and read a little passing foornote by rolis .. that said something along the lines of ..

if u try to upgrade, or Calculate Faid with a Partial unlocked MCU u will get 00..101..000

so yes ya right just flash the ORIGANAL partial back, or D/L a MCU from brad as all his are origanals ..

Hi!

I Did not downgrade/upgraded a partial flashed phone... what i was saying was, if i flash phone partially it will change MSID... (no upgrades nor downgrades at all!) olny partially flashed.. It was the only phone i ever had with such a problem. <img src="rolleyes.gif" border="0">

That happned to me.

I have the same problem right now only it's v503.

Lock 1 closed to specific network Lock 4 open but FFFFFFetc....

and won't accept simcard of it's corresponding network the phone is locked to. Phone just came from factory....... hmmmm.......

phones with partially unlocked MCU will have invalid MSID results. so when you upgrade/downgrade, make sure your using an unpatched MCU.

when you do a manual network search with your phone and it finally finds a network(but probably have NO ACCESS to any), chances are, your having a hardware problem.

just because it finds NO NETWORK, it doesn't always mean its the EEPROM data thats faulty.

if its the software thats at fault (or a bad upgrade), chances are, your phone will reboot every thirty seconds (30 sec) or so.

hi! the solution is very easy, you can upload the original partial in the correct position, I tested this and works 100%. before upload the same version with dejan box and enjoy..... regads picogsm
