MAke sure the battery voltage is correct and the battery connector and battery contacts on the PCB are ok. Check for oxidation and clean. Try flashing a good 3310 flash file using nokiaflashtool. The Flash IC, RAM and CCONT may need reflowing using liquid flux and an SMD rework station. Try this out and report back.

Maybe you shoul simply check the power switch, it's often broken after water damage.

clean the entire pcb thoroughly ... may be 4 times ... and rehot it ...(to make sure that there is no water below the smd ).... if you have kept the phone .. without cleaning it .. oxide formation can give you a murmur sound from the speaker as you try to power on ... also with rolis 4.79 and a flasher cable you can flash the phone with good trusted flash file ..... see itz getting flashed ... if there is no error and flashing gets completed and still there is no display .. use epprom tool to find out the eprom functioning ... post the result please ... thanx .. and good luck Sunil
