3310 No Signal !!!!! Plz Help!!!!!!!! - GSM-Forum

After unlocking a 3310 5.03 using eeprom tools 3.1 i now have have signal problems. Turn phone on have signal after 20 sec signal dissapears.

Tried recalcing FAID, full reset, update to 5.13 etc all with same problem.

Anyone any ideas ????

HI....

downgrade the phone to ver:4.45 & use eeprom tool3.1 to calculate faid

Did you test the phone before unlocking? Eeprom Tools works for this version!

Try to reflow the cobba ic if not working change it

This isnt something i'm confident about doing.
I dont which chip it is and i only have a simply soldering iron.

Used PCLocals self tests and both Cobba tests pass!! is this normal ???

Any idea where i could get this sorted ?

try to get help from any tech service it's better for you cause you will damage your phone permanently

i been told of a local phone dealer who might be able to help, will head off and see him now.

Failing that he sells new boards for phones so i will have to get one of them.

As it turn out the phone is under warranty and is gonna be spwapped. No need to have worried.
