Red face 3310 Problem...

Hi all!

I have this 3310, that as all 4 locks locked and displaying EEE's & FFF's...

I have tried everything to repair it...
The eeprom is intact (at least i think so... because the imei is the same)...
I only flashed it with 3310-445 partial... everything was ok... few days later the guy comes and says the phone is not working...

I checked it and all 4 locks closed...
I managed to repair it... the phone was ok again... but a few minutes later it was lossing network and all 4 locks are closed...
Then i tried to upload the same MCU+PPM that phone had originaly... and then download all the flash 00200000 to 00400000 and use NFREE 1.2 to repair it... but when i open it, it says "PPM not found! Disabiling PPM functions"... i corrected all checksums (the prog displayed nothing... i dunno if it should anyway)... and i uploaded all the flash back to the phone...
Reseted to factory settings...

but... NO DICE... the phone is still 4 locks closed...

I wonder if anyone knows what i should do... should i do a software upgrade by log? Is it going to work?

I forgot to mention, but i got the MCU and PPM package from Brad's site... i tried to cut the first 16 bytes... but the PPM cutter displays "NO PPM" or something like that... i uploaded it anyway...

Hope anyone can give me a clue...

Lots of Thanks in advance...

C ya!

Hello,
I think EEPROM area was messed up .... because of the four locks..are you sure EEPROM area is intact? Something must have hapenned to the phone after partial flashing....ask the guy what... he must know.

This might be stupid but.... are you sure itīs the same phone?

Maybe hardware problem

Regards & good luck

To all who like to cut 16 bytes of PPM in flashes...
Why are u doing this?
The flashes from brad's site are READY TO USE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
just flash it in the phone and all works......
Cutting first 16 bytes you need only if PPM pack is made with dejan flasher 1.04 ....
The flashes from brads site are not PPM packs...
that are FULL MCU+PPM flashes.......
Only thing to do with theese files is NOTHING!!!!!
Oly flash them into a phone........thats all!!!!!

Hi All!

I'm pretty sure it's hardware problem...
I can't be sure it's the same phone...

I think it's hardware, because, sometimes, if i turn off phone for a while and then turn it back on all will be ok... I have it truned on for 10 minutes now... and i'm able to recive calls and stuff... but i think in a while it will loose network and will not accept any card after that...

Thanks M8's!

Hi!

If you are refering to brad's mcu+ppm package... it starts at 00200000...

If you are putting a diferent software and package than the one that is on the phone, don't forget to Calculate Flash...
