Cool

hi,

Maybe you can try to flash it with a 2,00 mb backup. You can do this with reading the phone v 4.18 from 00200000-00400000. But make sure the phone you read with is without lock!!
( I had some troubles with unlocking after I flahed it with a Full backup 2,00 mb with lock)

Good luck

flashing from 200,000 to 400,000 would overwrite the imei rendering the phone useless isnt it?

Hello guys,

2MB flashing on a 3310 at any version is definitely not safe. During the previous sessions, this was discussed by x-shadow. To re-iterate, we can go as far as rewriting the firmware and PPM region of the flash. On someone mentioned not to go further than 003c0000, I believe he's right, beyond that address is the EEPROM and we would definitely screw up the IMEI if we run over the EEPROM region. What I think might work is to try to flash from 00200000 to 003b0000. To play it safe, be sure the phone were you got the flash file from is of identical flash ID's, Language pack, MCU SW version ...(you know the drill guys, right?)
I hope I was able to help. If not, there's nothing more I can tell you guys. This is as far as I know, I really don't know all that much.

Best regards,
Muscleman

Wink

try this:
1. make a full backup of your flash.
2. make a partial backup 003D00000 to 00400000 (this is your eprom)
3. write a 2mb backup with same version. (u can chek ur ppm version by activating netmonitor, goto 88 long press * activates menu mode.
4. write ur partial backup (d eprom) 003D00000 to 00400000

it worked 4 me most of the time.
