i need some info pls...
can i flash 3410 or 3330 sw into a 3315?

3315 is only 16mb phone 3330 and 3410 are 32 mb totally different eeprom area etc

Flash from Nokia 3410 is not possible,but if you want flash with 3330 software you must make some hardware modifications (change flash ic),search on older post how to convert 3310 (3315) to 3330.

so, if i understand correct i can flash only 3310 sw into a 3315 wihtout any problem?...

yes you can change a 3310 to a 3315 only
to make other changement,s you will nedd to make hardware changes

Yes because 3315 have some add menus(extra) added in menu, but about 3410 u can put this flash in 3310 because have not space at memory.

...and display resolution is diferent on 3410 !

3315-->3410 it`s possible! but you have to change flash ic and ram ic!3330-->3410 only ram memory(4mb)!you will find in alcatel bf3.Don`t forget to change display

IM trying to flash a 3410 with modded 3310 file now some 3410s it works fine but 50% wont let me update imei etc , question why do some work and others not ? , its really bugging me no matter what i try on the ones that dont work it wont update but if i flash that same 3410 with a full 3410 flash i can update imei and restore it back to a working 3410.
i have tried double flashing 3310 file and flashing eprom in both parts ie 3D0000 and 5D0000 and also flashing it with the same modded 3330 flash this time flashing as a full fls file then updating imei but still no joy , but both methods work on the ones that will alow me to update imei .
could it be diff flash chips in some 3410s ?
can some one put me out of my misery and give me a clue how to slove the problem? i know you phone experts will know

I have experienced the same thing in some 3410`s and I think it is related to the software version and the flash IC`s hardware ID. I have noticed that older firmware versions do not support writing to eeprom area through m2bus commands in new flash ID`s such as 2088BC and so on. The only solution was to upgrade firmware and then everything was OK.

Hi there thanks for reply ,sorry you lost me there a bit , im not a big expert at this , so are you saying i have to upgrade the firmware to a newer version before i try to flash my modded 3310 file ? or have i missed the point?
