Member: 53791 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 17 | 3330 -> 3310 Have a couple of 3330 but wanted to convert them to 3310's as 3310's can be made into 3315 and this is much easier to sell than 3330.. Difference between the 2 as i understand is that 3310 has a 16Mbit flash and 3330 has a 32 Mbit... Well it should not be a problem but i cannot get it working.. Have tried totally erasing the 3330 flash and flashing it with a full readout of a 3310 but after i finish the phone will not turn on.. What is the matter and hat can be done about it ? Twisterfan |

Member: 43976 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 4 | No need to change Flash chip!!!! Flash a full 3310 FULL flash file twice. 1. Flash 3310 FULL (mcu+ppm+eeprom) from address 0x200000 - 0x400000 2. Flash the same flash file from address 0x400000 - 0x600000 3. change IMEI, SP locks, Set FAID After that your phone will work like 3310. Also can convert to 3315 as 3310 -3315 simple conversion. If you use Rolis, do it like this, 1. Select 3310 in Rolis and flash full flash. after you finish. 2. Select 3330 and select same full flash file and change your star address to 400000 in "Enter addressin hex" option (see the picture attached) 3. change IMEI, SP locks, Set FAID Regards JFK |

Also, if i update will i need to flash new software to both or is it just this once i need to do it ? I mean, it will only use one the one of the 2 3310 images that i put in, will it be the upper or lower ? Twisterfan |
