3330 freezes - GSM-Forum

newbie here, hope i'm in the right place! My 3330 has been ok, but now when i turn it on, it gets as far as the operator screen, and even as far as going into the menu, when the phone freezes. the battery has to be taken out to switch it off. any ideas???

try to reset factory defaults with KNOK phoenix
If this doesnt work try to write the virgin EEPROM to the phone,change IMEI, clear SP and update FAID

Ok, thanks, the phone does not freeze any more now...but it switches itself off 'at will'. Any more ideas on this? Thanks.
