3330 no ring tones - GSM-Forum

3330 , ring tones don,t work , vibra ok

changed buzzer , cleaned pcb , no signs of damage

any ideas

Check PCB for continuity between piezo electric transducer(buzzer), and the output pin of the UI control IC.

i know this may seem silly, but have you tried doing a standard factory reset with rolis or eeprom tools ?

Everytime i upgrade a 3210 etc i have to do this as otherwise the customer comes back about 5 minutes later whingeing about having no ring tones lol

Its my fault 10 times out of 10 for forgetting to do it lol

Just an idea thats all

my 3330 also doesnt ring but i dont no what the ui chip is so can someone please tell me how to check if i have a broken link
