3330 not ringing

have a 3330 which wont ring but i have a 3310 which does. I know this is a very popular fault with the 33xx which is normaly casused by liquid damaged but is there a solution to this without soldering anything? i can take parts from a the 3310.

thanks

take out the PCB....look for the "N400" (near to buzzer contact points, with 10 legs on each side.) then u look again on the "N400" Right hand side...from the top u count....until the FIFTH leg.....then use a hairline wire to join the FIFTH leg...to the buzzer contacts(on the PCB,not to the BUZZER!!!) on the NEGATIVE point. Try it...it works 100%........cheers! It works for 3310 so it should work for a 3330.

A hair line wire is a piece a wire put out of a whole bunch of them, take for example you have a wire and you cut it, then you have shiny copper wire threads sticking out, if you put one of them, you will have a hair line wire and no, it won't fall out if you solder it properly, believe me it works, I've tried it alot of times. There is a broken link that is the reason for the buzzer not working, good luck but i don't think you'll need it if you follow my instructions
