3330 refuses to be flashed... Help!!! - GSM-Forum

Hi

A client gave me a 3330 to be flashed. According to the owner, the phone is ok, it hasn´t sw, so need to be flashed.

As the phone was without any batt charge. so I waited to someone charge it. I get the batt charded, but he refuses to be flashed... meanwhile the batt losed the charge. So I put the phone to charge. no light up, no batt indicator, but few hours later the batt it´s recharded...

What´s the f...... problem with this phone?

Did you try to change the flash IC?
A lot of 33xx have flash IC problem, resolder or replace, must work.

No I didn´t... Onwer told me that it has just sw problems...
But if he recharges, that´s not sw, right?

can send me pic of ic? I only repair phones with sw problems, so never tried those things.

Or explain where is it.

Ok I´ve received...
So wich on I´ve got to change or resolder. The Power Ic, audio Ic or charging IC?
I guess it´s the power Ic, right?

Just resolder flash IC, it's loctaed between Ram and Cobba.
resolder and reflash if is not working just change the flash IC.

I also tried 4.71... the problem it´s that he wasn´t contacting with PC. I´ve resolder flash, now I´ll try to flash it.
