3330 urgent help needed (duplicate post as is suitable for both forums) - GSM-Forum

I have a 3330 v 4.30 I tried to downgrade to unlock and took the file from brads site, The phone is completly dead now

I made several backups before downgrading, i have read from

200000 to 600000 200000 to 550000 and 550000 to 600000

these all apear OK when looking with Notepad, when I put back the backup from 200000 to 550000 it is still dead. I have read from the phone after flashing the backup and it has flashed it back OK.

to read I used 3330 65 08 config and the 956 bin and the 5580 f-loader

and to write I am using 3330 65 05 config and the same f-loader and Bin.

I must be doing somthing stupid as I don't usually have all this hassle flashing a phone.

Any Ideas ???

Did yuu try with rolis flasher to flash the phone. I flashed with rolis but full flash so i killed the phone but if you need the flash i can send it to you.

No I used Greens flasher as I always have found it works 100%.

as for the offer of the full flash, thanks but I don't think it is a problem with the flash files unless others have been having problems with brads 3330 416 flash too, I think it's more likly to be an F-Loader or Bin problem.

Hi guys, I made the same mistake a couple of months ago. I tried everything and every flasher software available and no luck! Eventually, bought myself a WinDDP from Codec, and upgraded the sucker. Voila!! The damn thing just lit up like a christmas tree!! I dunno what exactly went wrong all those while, but I'm glad i got the WinDDP!! It may also work with Dejan 105!

I think I know what i've done wrong, and need some advice putting it right, could somone who actually knows for certain this is what is I have done wrong answer this please.

I have just read again from 550000 to 600000 using the same read config as above but have used the 6244 loader and not the 5880 as I used before, I have a differant reading this time. so I would imagine i read it with the wrong loader.

I HAVE NOT OVERWRITTEN 550000 to 600000, but I have used Nokiatool to close the locks to FFFFF which may be why the downgraded flash is leaving the phone dead ( can somone confirm this ) How can I put this right as the backup is corrupt now.

If this is not the case then I am just using the wrong loader to write the phone, but this is unlikly as I wrote the 2 partials to unlock lock 1 and lock lock 2 to another network with out any trouble. and the phone did still work OK
