hi i have some phones today 3330 v.4.30 to add new ppm with dejan box 104.the phone lost the network. i fully flash them and the same happen.i dowgrade and the phones working ok.anybody can explain to me why not working with the 4.30 version best regards

i tryed to make from flash file 3310v4.30 MCU & PPM with Dejan 1.04 Unsuccesfull.... box says me bad checksums (i read flash from 200000-550000).

have anyone good idea?

(downgrade is working... )

I have an Nokia 3330-4.30 (non Telfort) without simlock can we do something with its flash file ? Regards, ArashArash2

To jordik You probably used wrong f_loader to read flash from your 4.30 Nokia and you got a mirrored flash image... I have succesfully read my Nokia and made a correct MCU&PPM with my 1.04 dongle...

To ArashArash2 You can't take 290-300 from a never locked 3330 4.30 phone and put it in a locked one...

To robinhood I also had this problem with 3330 4.30 so I simply downgrade the phone a charge double for unlock <img src="smile.gif" border="0">

I would also be interested as to why the partial from a phone that has never been locked could not be used!

I guessed that this must be the case or obtaining partials would be very easy indeed.

If someone could explain it would be much appreciated.

The way partial flashing works is you get a backup and patch it so that you disable the routine that looks for the locks to unlock the phone and it will then accept SIM cards from all networks. The locks are untouched by this that is why if you flash a original(unpatched partial) it will lock the phone back to whatever network it was locked on before. So the reason using a partial from a phone which was never locked will not work is because it still checks for the locks.
