5110 5.28 simcard rejected - GSM-Forum

hi,

my friend has this 5110 5.28 but don't accept any simcard, is there a solution?

Hello Man,

Read phone using Nokia Tool. See what locks
are closed.

To unlock lock 1, do the pin-shorting trick.

To unlock lock 2, unlock lock 1 first, then
just click [LOCK] on lock 2 without shorting
any pins and lock 2 will be gone. If not, do
pin-shorting method again with lock 2.

To unlock lock 3, unlock lock 1 first, then
unlock with pin-shorting trick

To unlock lock 4, unlock lock 1 first, then
unlock with pin-shorting....

Works only for 5110 ver 5.28, not tested on
3210 5.31!

But "Sim Card Rejected" only is displayed
when you insert destroyed sim card into
phone. "Sim Card Not Accepted" display for
locked phone. You know what I mean right?
So if only "Sim Card Rejected" display on
any sim, you have hardware problem maybe
like SIM terminal inside phone is damaged
or other parts of phone is physically
physically damaged.

hello to all!
i've encountered fone with 4 locks closed..to unlock do the 6/7 trick..first open lock 3 then 2, 4 and 1. now fone accepts any simcard...

maybe it's not the locks, probobly it's the phone itself??? defective??? tampered???

Hi There,

Grey means it is locked (Because wrong unlocking process is used!).
Use the method of shortening pins 6&7 and the nokia 033 tool and it works. Details can be found in 528531.zip. You find it anywhere like www.easynet.hu/~phonesoft!
