5110 No Network - GSM-Forum

Hi, got a phoe from UK. 5110. i flashed many times, but no network. heard that phone works only in uk! is it true???

The 5110 is a 900mhz handset and will work anywhere there is a 900mhz network
there is also a 5130 thats a 1800mhz handset

Sometimes you need to do hardware repair on the phone not all problems are software related try doing a manual search and see If you can see any networks or put netmonitor on it then you will get an inside look to whats going on
