5110 security code - GSM-Forum

I bought this at a garage sale.
It says 'security code' when any sim card is in but when I take the sim card out and enter #pw+1234567890+1(or 2,3,4)# - it says not locked.
*#06# says Serial number 490544306334040.
I am in Australia.

Any help appreciated.

????????? Security code isn't Sp code. factory sec. code for your phone is 12345. if it's changed by user you have to read it for example by Rolis 1.8 or some else prog...

man , it is so easy u just try 12345 if not working u just need a mbus cable for 5110 and use any old program like eeprom tools, that is all

Thanks - 12345 doesn't work.
Don't have a cable to connect to check the changed code so it looks like it goes in the bin.

if u have IRDA then try a program named " gammu " and it will get the code.

trust me.

nokia 5110 does,nt have irda .
