5110 v5.27 lcd not working - GSM-Forum

hello and thanks for reading

i have a 5110 and it powers up ok but the lcd dont work i have put a new one in to test but still no luck funny thing is when i use NkProfile the lcd is set to very low i have move the bar to try and get the lcd screen to work, but when it reboots the phone it puts the bar back down to the bottom any i dears?

Reset factory settings.
If not write another dump to eeprom.
Last version working with NKprofile was 5.02 (for me)

hello i have tryed resetting the phone but i have had no luck,

could i flash the phone? if so where could i get the file? thanks

Use Nokia Tool by Koci 3.12 or another toll to set corec contrast. I have sometimes same problem after flashing phone by Rolis 4.77 or Dark Flasher 3.01

have you got i site where i could d load Nokia Tool by Koci 3.12 ?

but Nokia Tool by Koci 3.12 dont seem to want to work with windows ME and win95 both pcs say missing MSCOMM32.OCX any i dears? where download the file?

Go www.google com and find MSCOMM32.OCX

Hello thanks again for the reply,

comes back as same as nkprofile always stay's to the left after (contrast low) phone reboot i will just keep the phone for spairs
