3310 Orange and T mob only

I have a 3310 that will work fine on Orange and T mobile but on BT and Voda it gets signals then loses them after a few seconds.
I've tried upgrading, still the same?

I have unlocked it with Nokia Tool and also upgraded the software with wintesla all the sim locks are open, do I take it that this is a hardware fault?

I don't see how it can be barred, it takes both sims ok and then just loses sigs, perhaps I should check it out properly first, food for thought anyway, thanks for all the help.
