5210 problem. Help! - GSM-Forum

I have problem with one 5210 version 5.13.

When i try to DL flash (with Dejan usual flasher)
from Knok (build 1), Knok says Cannot prepare phone?

And when i start WINDLS 4.1 (with Dejan BOX) after Get Info (that work OK), select Upgrade, and select PPM, after that
when i turn ON phone to start flashing, WINDLS says "Cannot prepare flash" ????

What that's mean? Some new flash or something else?

I read in Forum about litlle change in ALIAS.ID, and than
phone can be readed with small Dejan, and of course
writen with it. But, what to change in Alias.ID, and where
to find boot loaders for that C4 flash type in 5210?

Anybody have complete solution, step by step?
In the Forum i found message about it, but, nowhere is
explained with details

Can the Moderators do that?

Hi!
You have to use the newest flash and boot loaders for flashing 5210. Knok is good program for it. And try to move up or down that 2 screws on the connector, I had the same problem and I sllved it by taking out that 2 screws. It seems that there is a little difference between phones.

I have connector with one screw and 2 flange for two
holes in phone near phone pinouts. When i
connect to the phone with Dejan full box, phone is
readed by MBUS, but when i want to flash or read
flash i receive "cannot prepare phone" (same on
WINDLS 4.1, and Knok 22). I want to try with small
Dejan to read flash, but i dont know what to put
in Alias.ID for NSM-5, and which loader to use, i use
956, but, i receive from flasher (boot cont).

I am using small Dejan's interface with Knok, it works OK, and you only have to pick the phone model, the program will do the rest. You must have 4 pins on the connector, and try moving them up or down with the screw beside pins. I thing you only have a bad contact problem

Yes, connector have 4 pins. You mean to cut 2 flange (nazovimo
ih 2 plasticna fiksirajuca dela) and tha to try? When i put
battery i cant move up or down, is so tight (no space
for moving).

look for a new 5210 that has not baan used, backup tha phone then flash it in you phone, try rolis 4.78 or cyberdog flasher

I solve the problem. When i change LPT port, the
all programs working very vell

But, i still dont
know why usual LPT setting will not take effect.

When i reflash backup to phone, it dead!!!
