5210 problem??? take a look here!!!!!

I have tried recently to upgrade 5210 V5.12 to V5.16 to add language pack and i have killed phone!!!! I tried to do that with unlockking dct3 flasher ( small black box with red and green led on it ). Result was dead phone even if i did more than 1.000 nokias all models with that box.

And i was speaking with my friends who had same problem with Neelix box ( working with wintesla files just like my box) and with box of gsmunlock i think.

When u flash phone with it soft in box just cuts out first 36 bytes from MCU soft so last programming address is 36 bytes less than normal....

Just use normal dejan flasher and KNOK22 to flash phone then use your box to calculate cheksums ( or u can use any other tool like ).

The other solution is to modify .ini file for Your box...Open it in notepad, look for 5210 model description and change flash size to #35 (hex)...

If you have any problems mail me. I also have working eeprom of 5210

Best regards, Vule

Hi

The problem is flash loader not box/software/cable/ and you!

Newly released software already include necessary flash loader for 008988C4 but old ones do not. If you find proper flash loader you can do it with the simple flasher v1.0b by Dejan (thanks him)

Good Luck

LOL !!!!

It's not definitely flash loader !!!! I told u....My soft from UNLOCKKING just cuts out first 36 bytes from mcu and that's all...bug in this soft...wrong ini file....wrong flash size in it.....

Maybe Neelix is working but with new soft...My friend has one, he tried and result was dead phone.....After KNOK22 everything was ok
