5210 unlock problem. Cable screwed?
I am trying to unlock a friend's 5210 minus its SIM card which is locked to Orange. I am using a serial data cable connected via COM port 2 on win xp with Userport running. I am using Rollis 1.8 software, which I used to successfully unlock a 3310 for my mum with the same configs. When I click on read, I get the message "Cannot initialize local mode" and "Check Mbus cable" Is the cable screwed or is there anything else I need to consider??
P.s. Cable has 4 pins but 5210 appears to have 5 contacts
