hi,ihave 5510 succesfully flash using ext_ui board ext,but when writing product info it says error RADIO FAILED,any bodyhave an idea,pls reply

I Have The Same Problem

All The Phone Is Working Very Fine Plus The Music Player Working 100% .
Only Radio Is Not Working

Any Body Have Any Idea

make sure you have charger pluged in , better to use win 98

change ic radio, you can use ic radio 8310. but do not rehot ic dsp

I got exactly a same problem. Win 98, proper fbus cable and UI flash done, full flash done but when trying to write UI settings it says during self test: "radio failed". If quickly press "OK" button the UI settings writing successful but phone never starts up. Typical 8 sec on and switches off.
Anybody have any idea? Thx

I need an info or help about it.
Also I'm willing to buy working 5510 UI Board (worst case scenario) and Ericsson R380 genuine software cd or working mainboard in the UK.

The solution for Error04 radio failed error is to change radio IC on UI board.
The IC is same on 8310/6510.
