Member: 12747 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | I have done the conversion and used the following providers from the UK: Orange = OK 100% (GSM1800) T-Mobile = OK 100% (GSM1800) O2-UK = OK 100% (GSM900) VodaFone = OK 100% (?) Virgin Mobile = 50% (Uses T-Mobile) (GSM1800) There is no need to use KNOK to re-set. Calcing Faid a Few times using Ntool or NWorkshop seems to get the phone working on GSM1800. The new version of Nokia Tool by Jordik also reads the Security Code OK. You could also try 5.02 MCU + PPM + EEprom and Calc Faid, Unlock SP. Then upgrade to 5.03 MCU + PPM then Calc FAID, perhaps a few times. Last edited by sentinal; 06-19-2002 at 12:01. |

Member: 12747 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Mudboy, you can download a full flash, including MCU, PPM and Eeprom on my site under Upgrades/Dejan. This is from AirwavesComm, it does work 100%, so give him the thanks. PS. You will need to update IMEI to your own. |
