Red face 6210 black screen

i have a 6210 that goes black when turned on. i tried writing flash from another phone and the phone says insert sim card (of course no network, four locks closed) so i wrote again to phone orig eeprom and goes black again. im sure the problem is with the eeprom portion but nfree sees no problem with the eeprom area. anyway i tried correcting eeprom checksum still the same. any idea?

You rewrote original EEPROM area from another phone.
you CAN'T rewrite EEPROM area!
Put your original EEPROM back and IMEI and lock will be same as before.
BR

Hi!

If your eeprom backup was correct... was your phone dropped into the water? Maybe it is Moisty... Try opening the phone and try to remove it... maybe it can help you...

Sorry for the bad english...

C ya!

Red face

i overwrote eeprom area to check if the problem is hardware. it says insert sim card so im sure hardware is good. when i wrote original eeprom (i have a backup) screen goes blank again. so im sure the problem is in the eeprom portion but nfree sees nothing wrong with the checksums and imei is intact. any soft you could recommend?

HELLO M8

I HAD THE SAME KIND OF PROBLEM WITH A 5146 V5.31 AND IT WAS LOCKED I FLASHED IT WITH JETHRO V6.C AND IT KILLED MY PHONE, SO I WRITE A 5110-531.FLS FILE AND IT WOULD NOT TURN BACK ON EITHER, I WROTE A 5.03 AND IT WORKED FINE STRANGE HUH, I WOULD NOT RECCOMEND DOING THIS THOUGH AS YOU MAY COMPLETELY KILL IT THEN, AND IF YOU KILL IT I CAN BUY IF OFF YOU FOR £10.00 IF YOU WANT....

REGARDS

ADAM

hi m8's;

i've encountered that kind of problem and tried to fix it using hardware solution....

just put a small amount of flux at the cobba i.c. then rehot it....

i've repaired many phones using that solution....
