Member: 2768 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 12 | Try this site: http://brobble.de/backups/6210/ DO NOT RESTORE WHOLE BACKUP, THIS BACKUP IS FROM 200000 TO 5A0000. IT WILL BE ENOUF FOR YOU TO RESTORE IT FROM 200000 TO 300000. USE HEX-EDITOR AND CUT THIS FILE SO IT WILL BE 10000 LONG (IN HEX). THEN WRITE IT TO YOUR PHONE FROM 200000 TO 300000. DONT WRITE BEYOND 520000 (YOU WILL REPLACE YOUR PPM, AND YOUR PHONE WILL NOT WORK). ESPECALY DONT WRITE BEYOND 5A0000 (THIS WILL DESTROY YOUR PHONE, AND THERE IS NO REPAIR BY THIS METHOD) I RECENTLY MANAGED TO DESTROY MY 6210 BY WRITYNG BEYOND 5A0000 AND ERASYNG MY ORIGINAL EPROM. I AM STILL LOOKING FOR CORECT BACKUP (V3.01 PPM-D) TO TRY TO DO SOMETHING AND NOBODY OF YOU GUYS TRIED TO HELP ME (SOME DID THANX, BUT IT WASNT CORECT PPM VERSION), I GUESS IT WAS TOO HARD FOR THEM TO SEND 2MB FILE (ZIPED). GOOD LUCK. |

Member: 4228 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | I'm also still looking for the 6210 3.01 backup, although I'm now not sure if the PPM is C or D, because my other 6210 (5.02) which works OK has these languages: German, English, Turkish, Spanish, French. I believe this is PPM C, is this standard for UK phones? Or should it be D (which has Italian I think instead of Turkish)? Anyway, still on the lookout Thanks, Paul. |

Member: 2768 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 12 | Hi all. I use a Hex Workshop 3.11 You can download it from this adress: http://www.bpsoft.com/downloads/down...le=hw32v31.exe I can help you with this program because it is only one that i used. Load the backup (File/Open). If you wonna cut from 000000-3d0000 make sure your marker is on 000000, then use command "Edit/Select block", type in here end address or size of a block you want to select (in your case size of a block is 3d0000 or ending position is 3cffff) then "File/Save selection" and finally type in the name of a new created file, save it and thats all. If you want to know what ppm you are having view the file and go to address 320000 you will find a string like this "PPM.V 03.04.06-10-00.NPE-3.(c) NMP......D..........", where D is my ppm version, you will find out here whats yours. Practice and you get on to it. |

Member: 1418 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | It's ok ! i have cutted the file ! 00200000 - 00390000.fls 00200000 - 003A0000.fls 00200000 - 003B0000.fls 00200000 - 003C0000.fls 00200000 - 003D0000.fls If someone need it, just ask me ! I will send it to you When you say i have to select all blocks from 000000 to 3D0000, it is not correct because 3D0000 doesn't exist. In fact, when you open a fls from 00200000 - 005A0000 like the one of Brobble, in the Hex Editor, it is from 0000000 - 39FFFCC... so, for all who wants to cut this file, just be careful about this ! Thx very much rango for your help... it is very useful ! i don't test it yet because i am at work now I will tell you the results tonight ! |

Member: 2768 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 12 | Thats because the start of a flash is 200000 and in hex editor it's 000000. So 600000 is actualy 400000 and 400000 is 200000. For 3310 full backup is 20000-400000 (200000 lenght) For 6210 full backup is 200000-600000 (400000 lenght) I dont know for 3310 but in 6210 flash: start adr. - end. adr. MCU 200000 5200000 PPM 520000 5A00000 PMM 5A0000 5FA0000 EEPROM 5FA000 6000000 (eprom changes addr. from time to time to 5FC000, dont know why) Try to use great tool from Viper BJK you can find out lot of stuff from your flash and play with it CHKSUM repair, Sec. code problems etc. try it. http://gsmfree.rulez.at/viperbjk/manual.html If I helped you guys rate me please. Bye all. |
