Hi!

Sorry mate, but this half-full-flash isn't enough.. First read your phone with dejan from 20-60. If you have a full flash, just open this in a notepad or hexeditor and search the "ppm" text. I think, that the 3. or 4. hit is your phone version and ppm package.

hi,
an easier way is to use the new soft from orbitel it is called flash extractor, it shows you the version and the language pack and other info and make Mcu and PPm from the flash file but like Jarod said you need a full flash from 20-60 for 7110, if you need the flash extractor, i can send it to you.
or maybe if you try to unlock it with NU2000 or jethro, you will see the version

well, i don't realy know what you mean!
you can make a full flash from 3310 by reading from 20000-40000 but with 6210 and 7110 you need to read from 20000 to 60000 and then either use Nokia free by Viper or flash extractor by orbitel and you'll see all the infos or use a hex editor like Jarod said.
It has to be a good flash and not a back up consisting of FF and 00
Regards
Meam

you can have a look at this site, here you can find MCU for 494 and different PPM with different language pack
http://www.gsmgroup.net/archive/Nk_files/Nse-5_4.94/
I think with PPM files you have to delete the first 16 byte.
I think this is a very usefull site for all the people who are looking for back ups.
please make sure that you have the original back up before experimenting with these MCU and PPM
B.R.
Meam
