8210 broken disp. - GSM-Forum

I have a N8210 which has been ran over by a car :-( And the only visible damage is that the display is broken, but it doesnt respond to on/off or charger. If its only the display which is broken then it should respond to charger and on/off, shouldnt it? My guess is that something else is broken too, what do you guys think?

well WE are not psychic here, best chance is to open the phone and try other batteries... if it doesn't power up, try to bring to nokia service or other service centers

not all phones are repairable

I've got a friend that had his 8210 run over by a car, I opened it up, not only was the screen broken but a few of the chips were cracked and chipped, so the phone was basically useless. I would turn on, but I wouldn't get any signal etc etc.

Open up your phone and check everything inside =)

What type of car was it ?

May be this makes a diffarance.

Is the car still working. if not try checking fuel. and that it is unlocked and that you have the correct key.

Well, i have checked inside and as i said the only visible damage is the broken display... No chips are broken or damaged and there are no visible damages to the PCB.

ttsunlock, unfortunately i didnt see the car... But i guess it still works since its not left at that parking lot. ;-)
