Post 8210 contrast problem is there a program that will fix it

the phone powers on as the leds power up but nothing appears on screen.
does anyone ahve a program to fix this
its and 8210 v5.25

if its just contrast [are you sure], then use NKprofile....

but, i think, its a hardware problem. check LCD or have elastomer changed

the screen was working fine until i reflashed it. how can i check to see if its working?

i put the charger in and the bars came on as usual as though it was charging so i dont think its a contrast problem anymore.
Also loads of random black lines came on and when i pressed the screen it went blank.
do you think this is an lcd problem.

i think its elastomer problem... try to change it...

greetings!

i had the same problem with a 6210 before like after flashing there is no display and when during power on you will see random display of bars. why not try restoring the 8210 backup flash --assuming you have one.
see if it works.

remove six screws and separate the pcb with the lcd frame... remove the elastomer carefully the green thing connecting the lcd with the pcb... u can use elastomer of 3210 lcds just cut it into half with a clean blade... adjust the speaker connector.... try to put the backup flash first coz i think its more easier to do....
