2 8210s same prob as soon as they get reception they turn off can any 1 help?????

Try checking the battery connector of the fone. Maybe the contacts of the connector to the board is dirty, try cleaning the circuit board contacts or replaced the connector w/ a new ones coz you need more power from the battery in order to get network or can make a call. Did you ever try checking the battery? Maybe the battery also is damaged. If the problem still occurs, and the program of the fone is good, I think theres a problem in the power supply of the fone, in the CCONT part, sometimes leaky capacitor or loose contacts of the parts.

i would try updating the faid first m8

otherwise try another battery !!!! it has been known to happen even when the battery shows that it has a full charge.

Post if it works m8, soz we know for future reference

OK. Before this problem happens, did this fone drops, or get water damege? We need to know first whats the history of the fones before the problem occurs. Did the fone still turns off if you put no sim card? If not, You need Wintesla Service software or PC locals to analyse the fone's hardware if they are functioning normally. Just try pressing self test and you will know if the chips are working ok or it will displays: passed, if not failed will be the result. If everything displays ok, I think you have to check the pcboard connections or some parts is missing or you have to replace the CCONT chip w/ a new one.
