Question 8210 KEEPS TURNING IT'S SELF OFF!!!!

HI,<br />i have a nokia 8210 and it keeps turning it's self off sometimes after about 10 mins sometimes after 4 hours??? does anyone have any ideas what is wrong with my phone?? it's my only phone and i really need it working!<br />please help!<br />thanks

Check also if the battery is loose. If it is you have to put something in between the lower part of the batter and the back casing.

If all is ok, then you might have to rehot CCONT, or replace 26 mhz vctxco

Ok it's not the battery!!! how do i correct the phone i have a flasher kit and dejan please someone help or tell me where to get the file to flash the phone!!<br />thanks all<br />digitaltv69

Hi,

I think you need to upgrade your software. The checksum might be wrong. If after the upgrading and you still facing this problem, change the power IC or reflow the cobba IC. And also check the LCD too.

Take screen off phone and clean contacts on board where connectors from phone touch , worked a treat for me !!

Had the same problem, solved it by upgrading the phone to v5.29 using Nokia Resource 2.11.

just have the phone's firmware upgraded. i that doesn't work, then that's the time you have its hardware checked
