Unhappy 8210 mic problem

Can anybody shed any light on this problem for me. I have an 8210 and the microphone didnt work so I changed the mic and still nothing. If I tap the phone you can sometimes hear the tapping but it will not send voice at all. Ive flashed the phone to v5.31 and its a rom5 if that helps at all.

Thanks alot in advance for any help at all

It must have contacted with water.Locate the 3 resistor(2x light brown & 1x black) just behind the mic connection area.See any colour changes or oxidation, brush it with a tooth-brush with alcohol or ligther refill. After do so,test it.If fail, replace the resistor.Let us know the result, good luck.
