Member: 38793 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | 8210 PMM [not ppm !] I hope that someone can help and that this question is not spam ! Can't seem to find the info. I want to find a way to add pmm into the eeprom area of an 8210 which has this missing. I do NOT want to flash with an eeprom from a different 'phone. The reason is that I want the orig and current IMEI data to be the same, i.e. both to match being the real IMEI number. Is there a certain REGION ( not full eeprom ) I can flash from another 'phone to restore this pmm data, without causing probs? If not, how can this be done please? Best regards, Lee. |

Member: 3430 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 3 | I do not know the exact PMM area for the 8210 but im sure someone out there does. the easiest thing to do though is to flash a full eeprom and then change the imei back to the original using eeprom tools or rollis etc. much easier. regards Dan |

Member: 38793 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Hi Dan, Thanks for your very kind reply. I've just worked out that it is possible to get all infos correct this way and is an easier method, as some tools can only change the 'cosmetic' IMEI. Obviously, I am using this method ONLY for repair ( to add PMM ) and do NOT endorse it for any other purpose. Thanks friend, for your time considering this. Best regards, Lee. |
