Post how to check sw version dead 3310 ??


Hi to all...

can somebody explain how to check the sw version of a dead nokia 3310 phone, and how to check what ppm version is used in the phone ?????

I read it once , but can't find the topic anymore...

what part of flash do i need to copy from exact the same phone to bring back alive dead phone after wrong unlock ???

To get the SW Version, try using Jethro unlocker 3.31 or above. When it asks you to press the ON button, it will detect these details and display them in a window, before asking to proceed with the unlock. I'm not sure wether this will work when the phone is dead, but would be worth a try.

Or,

Download Full Flash and Search 'PPM' string in a Hexeditor.It will display version and PPM package letter.

The first option mentioned above is working fine for me...
Just use jehtro to get sw version...
