8250 fake signal!!! - GSM-Forum

i have this 8250 that has a fake signal but at first the problem was "Insert Sim Card" what i did was replaced the sim card reader then it worked but then i got this problem it has a full bar signal but you can't send txt message as well as recieve, can't make a call as well as recieve a call...what seems to be the problem?hope you can help me out guys....

yup i did but still nothing happened...

Hi,
1-Upgrade your phone version
2- See mechanical causes such as antenna or incorrectly soldred componenets.
Else replace PA or/and Vco (test them)
in the other case contact me

1) make full backup of 00200000-00600000
2) Try to copy a 00200000-00600000 from phone 1 to your fake signal phone....
3) use B-phreaks to update authority, clear locks and update imei...
still the same then continue step 2 and 3 again and again.
i successfully done that once.....
