Member: 351925 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 |  8290 not allowing an unlock - testing with various Sim cards.. Help Here's where it gets weird. I put the 32k pac bell card or the 64k cingular 'smartchip' in the phone and it reads them and works (these are old nonfunctioning sim cards i have lying around). I put any other cingular sim card (the old old pre 64k ones, and the new 3g ones) in it and it says sim card not accepted. T-Mobile , etc... all other sim cards say 'sim card not accepted' Any ideas? I've tried unlocking it as if it were locked to cingular or pac bell and they just say "code error" every time... Help? Thanks, |
