| Can anyone tell me how to take off antenna for 8850? I saw in service manual i have to use a tool to take it off. How? Thank you! |

| sorry was going to send e-mail. hold the phone and put thumb at the base of the aerial with the battery removed and gently rotate upwards. works every time. |

| that technique only works if there's no hole in the frame as mentioned in the service manual? what if there's a hole? it say i have to use battery connector extractor tool to release the snap thru the hole. is there any other tool i can use besides that, because i have no idea how that tool work. thank! |

| i can assure you that i work on many of these phones every day (i own a repair centre) and never has it been necessary to use a special tool. if you damage it i can send you a new one for £3.50 |

| "hold the phone and put thumb at the base of the aerial with the battery removed and gently rotate upwards." so after i remove battery, where do i put my thumb? at the base of the aerial? <img src="frown.gif" border="0"> where is that? do i put my thumb near where the hole is and rotate anti-clockwise to unlock snap on the right and then do the same to unlock the snap on the left? sorry for being to annoying because the 8850 i have isnt mine <img src="frown.gif" border="0"> sorry. |
