8850 connected to network but not working - GSM-Forum

Hello borthers,

I have one 8850 that connect to network, but when I try to call, it`s imposible to start comunication a " tiruriii, tirutiii" sound it´s the answer. When someone calls me the message is the folloing " This numbrer has restricted incomming calls". I am from Spain, and I have check phone with the 3. Movistar (900/1800), Airtel (900/1800) and Amena (1800).

But when i use Amena the 8850 works perfectly.

Whats the problem ??? I found this phone and until now it was wroking perfectly with 3 operators.

Can be a IMEI problem ??

Whats the solution ?

could be the imei or the phone is sim locked/restricted

I think you try to unlock it one more time .I meet the same problem before

I try to flash again, but no change. The problem persist. It`s posible to change imei using flasher ?

It can be that the phone have be locked to other networks, and are just only working for the network you to us. But the soulotin are u have to unlock the phone or flash the phone if u get the same problem after you have tryed to unlock it

Sounds more like a barred IMEI...

It can be but I recommend his to do as I wrote before and do not forgiet that take a backup!
