Uniquely designed with a combination of materials including real matt metal and Nokia's distinctive sliding cover, the gold edition of Nokia 8850 has an exceptional styling which is timeless, classic and luxurious. The slide and most parts of the phone are made of aluminium magnesium alloy with gold coloured finishing whereas the central frame, the keys and the bezel around the display are chrome coated.

The Nokia 8850 has a wide array of features including voice dialling, predictive text input, picture messaging and supports Chinese SMS input. A dual band GSM 900/1800 phone with a white LED screen, the Nokia 8850 has an internal semi-fixed battery for an overall streamlined appearance. Weighing 91g, the 70cc phone offers excellent talk time of up to 3 hours 20 minutes and standby time of up to 150 hours.
