9000i Unlocking !


Can anyone direct me too what i need to do to unlock it.

I have a mbus cable, but what software do i need ?

Hi,

Because it's a very old phone I think only Nokiatool will do just
fine.

Try to read it with this one and if the locks are readable the
will be open also.


BTW didn't know they locked this one at the time the released it

It was wanting a lock code....but it doesn't really matter now anyway as the phone was sent back

Out of interest which networks would it have worked on ???

The phone if it had an orange badge on it would have worked on the 1800mhz (orange 1-2-1 as it was then) if it did not have the orange badge on it would have worked on the 900mhz (vodafone cellnet o2 now).

Not sure if nokia tool would unlock it but I think you need to old koci tool to do it and in nokia tool you should have seen the lock code (4th one down)
