After erasing flash 6110, phone dead - GSM-Forum

Hi all,
I am a newbie here and just got the twister. However, I just use try an error to flash manual flash the phone 6110, the phone become contact service.

So I try to erase the flash but it mention if you put wrong model, will damage phone. I click no but it still erase.

Than, I try to flash it by flash and UI option, UI option fail come the message: M-Bus error, 1F 00 10 40 00 04 00 01 64 02 01 2D Bad Mob Ack.( The MCU:nse3nx05.48c PPM:nse3nx05.48c)

For the result of twister suite, it stated:
Detected:

Try to use Rollis 477 or 479 other Nokia flasher software and write full flash(eeprom+mcu+ppm),and then update faid and repair imei with eeprom tool.100% works.

Thank you. I had try to use Nokia Tools by Nolis v1.8 but it can't intial the local mode and fail.

Please advice.

are u sure u can write eeprom to nokia 6110 by rolis ?

Hello Syed,
I use nokia tools by rolis to read the MCU eeprom the good phone and than write it to the dead phone but fail. I also try to use Knok Phoenix to reflash using 6110-ro3.fls to reflash it but also fail.

Please advice.

are yours flash is damaged?
try to replase flash chip.

Hello Yanio,

I haven't change the flash chip as I don't have it right now. BTW, before I try my twister flasher, the phone is in good condition and I just it to test my twister, but it come out this result. I had flash the wrong MCU before, but I already flash the correct one but wrong version. Phone can power up but show error of different version.
I try to flash the correct version but the twister and other soft at the moment can't help.
Please advice.

try to write flash and eeprom(MCu and ppm )the same version,after that update faid!

try to resolder flash IC and flash normal 1 MB flash file readed from any working flash.... u dont normally damage ur flash IC by flashin the phone....just need to flash it with proper flash file ...u can use Rolis for flashing phone !!

Hi all,
I would like to say big big thanks to all of your help. I am very proud to be a member of this forum. Finally, I succesfully to reflash the dead phone. Totally, I reflash 143 times but 3 time error flashing. Phones is alive now.

I still got some doubt is it my phones' harware problem or the twister/cable hardware problem as it take so many time to reflash it to get it success.

Anyway, once again thank you all for your kind and helpfull people.
