hi to all the exoperts, i flashed my 7110 ver 5.00 with a full flash vers. 5.01 from 20 to 60 and of course ruined the Phone, the phone has now a different IMEI and after entering PIN Code doen't do anything.
My question now is this, is the problem only the wrong IMEI? could i change the IMEI to the original with Hex Workshop? and does anyone know where The IMEI is stored? it must be stored somewhere on the flash, i have been looking for it since two days now, i tried lots of different combinations but diden't find it, i divided the IMEI in 3 Parts and found them on the flash but not all at the same Line, changed them and flashed the Phone, i got then contact service!
i tried it with two 6210 vers. 4.27 with the same software, same date of production, they only have different IMEI, made two full back ups to see what the difference is, but when i compare the two files but there are lots of differences, i had hoped that it would just be few addresses, no lock.
can anybody help me please, i can send the two back ups from 6210 to anyone who want to experiment, they are 4MB each.

Hi Meam
The problem is that eeprom area is NOT same in all phones ( exept IMEI ) - it has many diferentces . When You change IMEI You will get Contat service because phone calculate checksum and if is not OK You get Contat service. In this moment, i think that You can fix Your phones with Dejan1.04 PPM MCU uploader - it can change Imei and calculate checksums.

i think for Dejan 1.04 you need to buy the Dejan box, i don't think that there are so many people around whohave his box.
i had made a full back up from my phone but unfortunately i realized after the damage was done that it was only FFFF... and 000....
my other question is this, if you can't use a full flash from other phones, why do people offer sending them to others, what is the use of full flashes except for the Original Phone?

Hi
When You make beckups of phone make only beckup of flash ( firmware ) area - NOT eeprom area . With this beckup You will be able to fix every phone with same MCU - version and the same PPM - language set.
With full beckup ( flash + eeprom ) You can flesh only the same phone - NOT any other.
Do not touch eeprom area.

3210 - 200000-400000-flash , eprom is other chip
In other models flash and eprom are integrated in one chip.
3310,8210 - 200000-3d0000 flash
- 3d0000-400000 eprom
7110 - 200000-400000 flash
- 400000-600000 eprom
6210(think,not 100% sure) - 200000-3f0000 flash
( i fleshed 6210 with beckup from 200000-3d0000 and everything was OK ).

Everytime check Yours beckup in HEX editor and use corect TIA for f_loader.
First read phone from 200000-200000 - it shows phone ID.

maybe it was't a bad thing to ruin the phone, because i have been looking for the information you have given me for a long time, i am printing them right now so that i can refer to your lists everytime i need them, it is very nice of you, your certainly know alot about nokias and flashing, i am sure these Information will help lots of other Friends as well.
what happens if you flash for example a 7110 from 20000 to 40000 with flash from other phone with different MCU & PPM?
if you make a full back up from your phone can you always repair your phone? can you experiment with the Phone and then flash it with the back up?

Hi Meam
If You flash phone - flash area with beckup of diferent version or language pack phone will be unlocked, but can not find network.
If you made full beckup of phone, that phone you can repair 100% Be sure that use good TIA for reading. Check beckup in HEX editor.

Hi people. I´m newe in unlocking phones but mais Aim is not cgarging people to unlock them the phones. I´m from Cape Verde Island West Africa, a very poor country.
the point is that i´m looking for help in those cases. I try the mcu ppm but it´s not working.
How can i know what tia file is for what phone type and version??
What about boot.bin? How can i choose it for the rigth phone?
The questions seems stuped but it´s usefull for me. Please ansewr me.

Hey Meam:
Don`t worry about your 7110, I renember you that the phones with external EEPROM (51xx,61xx,71xx,32xx) always can be flashed with a full flash (200-600) and the phone will work again 100%, the only thing it`s that you must find a full flash of the SAME PPM, SAME VERSION, even the SAME OPERATOR.
Yes, you phone`s IMEI will be changed, but if the flash it`s correct the phone will be working. I`ve fixed many phones in this way.

This only don`t work with 62xx,33xx,82xx and similars with emulated eeprom in the flash. You will get "Contact Service" or locks closed.

if what you say is true, then i'll be very happy, as it happens, i have another 7110 from the same Network and the same version, i will try it on tuseday, because the Phone is in the shop and Monday is a holliday here,
Have you realy tried this with 7110?
i have another problem now as well, since i installed the nokia free cracked by SPunlock, my computers don't work normal. i had to uninstall it from 2 PC and i have it only on my Notebook, now the poblem:
any Back up i make is just FF & 00 i don't know why, maybe you have an Idea,

To Semedo, just to unlock phones, you can now use, Nokiafree von SPunlock, or Jetro 311, you don't need to know anything you just push the unlock button, or you use Darkflsher shell, which is for me the easiest shell to use, you search the old Posts you see lots of informatin that will help you

I send to You tia files + original f_loader.bin and boot.bin.
I use always original boot.bin I send to you.
For f_loader.bin first read phone from 200000-200000 or 200000-200010 - than you
will see ID of flash. In list ID=TIA now you can see what tia you must use for that
phone. Than rename that tia in f_loader.bin.
For Intels flashs ( exept ID 80898896 ) you can freely use normal f_loader.bin - it is
Intels tia - I send to you.

Try landys solution, but I think that hi is in wrong.I think that 7110 have integrated flash and eeprom in one chip - not have two chips separated like 3210 or 5110.
For reading FFFF 0000 - what CPU you have - if you have AMD I heard that many softs dont work good on this CPU.
I work on 233 MMX ,166 MHz and PIII 533 MHz Intels and everything is OK ( W98 also ).

I have the 3310 4.24 ppm file. whem i flash the phone with this fls file the phones come alive but with all 4 locks closed. How can i solve this problem. Or Shoul i need the MCU PPM uploader working??
Does Nokia box fix those problems??

For changing PPM and MCU you must have original Nokia flashing boxes or Dejan MCU PPM loader - both very expencive.Do not try changing version or language pack with existing free softs - You will damege Yours phone . Now you can only unlock and repair some phones - reed posts before in this topic.
