another dead 3210? - GSM-Forum

hi!

i try to flash an mcu into my 3210 and the flasher say "flash status error" at #2e0000. i try 2 flasher program (dejan and rolins) but the error doesnt absorved. the flash dead?
the phone has atmel 16MB flash
any idea?

I have the same problem.

Knok,rolis,dejan don't work with N3210.
Other phones are working,but 3210 as nail in ***

I've had same problems. Try use a slower computer (under 233 Mhz) !

Wrong. 100%. If you have problems flashing 3210, you'll need more power on interface - vpp pin - so, you can use external power on that pin. For me, only KNOK can flash 3210 without external power.

hi!

thx i found a knoc 2.1 (engine build 21 / frontend build 17), but i try without external power and the problem is same

but i cant find schematic everywhere so if you dont want to send please tell where can i find it...

I had the same problem with 3210.U must use 6 pin connector or plug Vpp on mainbord in phone.If u need knock write me please i will send u.Regards

thx i find a knoc program, but i already use 6 pin connector.
the program start flasing...

FLS1_GeneralSendAlgoCodeDCT3 : algo code seems to be running
FLS1_Write : written block (4 bytes) starting from 00200034
FLS1_Read : read block (128 bytes) starting from 00200000
FLS1_Write : written block (4 bytes) starting from 00200034
FLS1_Read : read block (128 bytes) starting from 002E2F74
CMD_handlecommands : cannot analyze phone

FLS1_Erase : erased block (65536 bytes) starting from 00200000
...
FLS1_Write : written block (4096 bytes) starting from 002DF000

and the program stop the flashing

so i try 3 or 4 flasher but at the address 2e0000-2effff i cant flash the phone

(the phone has atmel16mb flash)

so if you have any idea...!?

I'm absolutly sure that u have problem with vpp.Trust me i had the same problem.Check your pinouts,and cable.Try to clean a pin in phone.Translate *.fls to *.knk files but i try with fls and knk and works good.Good luck.Rgds;

i checked the schematic, cleaned the connection and converted the flash. but nothing!

i hate this phone

so i think the phone is destroyed...

What was version of that dead 3210???
If it's 4.64 u r not lucky....whole series have bad flash

Try to resolder it or to change it...And take look in some topic i just answered about dead flash on NOKIA 3310 ......
