nokia.....where is it made? - GSM-Forum

i have conflicting info if i tend to buy a nokia phone. some dealers would tell me that if i buy a 3210, some are made in Germany, China and Finland. Finland they said r d best but china isn't? What's the truth guys?

i know that Finland is the origin. but i have no idea which is the best,although i don't think it's china. ;o)

all nokia, whether from what country, are all the same in quality and operations. all passes thru hard quality inspection. the only main difference of the european models to the asian models are the language settings, charger package, and LCD contrast. European models ahas more european languages while asian models have asian languages. asian models has fast charger package while european models [some] has slow charger package. And LCD of the european package has darker contrast compared to the asian models due to climate reasons.

trivia: when you open both european and asian models of nokia, you would realize that all parts doesn't come in one country. most parts come from asia, even though the units are made from finland.

I have opened lots of Nokia units myself.

This "WHERE IN THE WORLD" it came from discrimination is nothing but merely colonial mentalism that often looked by capitalist and bussinesmen as an opportunity to earn more money.
