Because the are not connected to the same power supply you don't need to do them both. So you can change the keyboard and/or the display in a different colour. If you need to know how the leds are fitted I can send you a drawing.
Regards,
Fallen |

Member: 2868 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 514 | Hi Beef
Let me tell you how I change them.
First remuve all green LEDs.
After that I get one blue and as the phone is on (just the bord)I fit the LED so it tuches the soder pads. In that way I make it light and soder it. So I have found the proper way of fiting the LED. Now I have the multimeter and fit the others
Best regards
Daniel |

Member: 5324 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 7 | i bet you i know what your problem is!!!
i had the same what it is, there was a large batch of l.e.d's which were manufactored witht the cathode direction printed the wrong way round, so if you reverse all the l.e.d's im sure your problem will be resolved, this is only on the 0603 bulbs, also remember that u cant change just 1, start witht the screen, remove all blue l.e.d's and swap them around so the cathode is facing the other way, just put one on and hold it on, now put in battery and turn on phone, 1 blue l.e.d should light up!!!! i have had 3 out of about 20 batches which have been printed the wrong way round hope this helps nick
mobilexchange |
