Use 65 08 for both reading and writing.
65 05 works for writing also, but may cause some problems.

Open full flash in hex editor.
Say you don't know address that PPM starts just search for text string PPM after about 3 finds it will find the start of the PPM area it will look like:
PPM.V 04.94.27-09-00.NSE-5.(c) NMP......B
Example is from a 7110 sw v4.94 with PPM B.
Just highlight the area you want and copy it into a new file.

Or if you know the address just go to start of PPM hold shift and go to start of eeprom.

Red face

Hi G-Man !

Thanks.

Now I understand how to "pull out" MCU.Open full flash.Mark from start to PPM.V 04.94.27-09-00.NSE-5.(c) NMP......B (but without PPM.V 0494... because there start PPM) save it and you will get MCU from full flash.OK?
But if I whant PPM without MCU.? I open full flash.Mark area from "PPM.V 04.94.27-09-00.NSE-5.(c) NMP......B" to ??????? where ?
I don`t know where is the end of the PPM and where is start of the Eeprom area when I open full flash with hexeditor.
I hope that you understand what I`m trying to say.

Thanks
Format

try this.

in hex editor. open a full flash file. search for PPMV.
if you found it. good.

if front of PPMV. you will see 50 50 4d 00 PPMV. ignore this. what is important is the 4 bytes in front of it. ex. 0x00289330. subract 0x200000 from it and u will get 0x89330.

go to this location and you will get another 8 bytes. it's the start and end. subtract 0x200000 to both of them, and it's the starting address of PPM and 2nd 4 bytes is the ending address.

hope you understand it...
