Broken 7110 need help !!! - GSM-Forum

Hi I have had a problem whit my 7110... it was 4.84 but I wanted to upgrade it to 5.01 But when I was upgrading it my computer freaked out <img src="confused.gif" border="0"> ! So now I have a dead 7110... And the backup I had made was erased !! I have a serious problem !! Can anyone help me ??? <img src="mad.gif" border="0">

Hi, simple write MCU and PPM to the phone. EEPROM area is ok. BR

Did you write MCU and PPM from address 00200000? what does the phone doing now? regards

Yes, Well the phone is going on but the network status isn't working ant after 15 secs the lights go off and the screen will turn blank and when you press the red phone key about 5 times the screen gose on. But that's not a good thing <img src="mad.gif" border="0"> ! But you figured that out yourself <img src="biggrin.gif" border="0"> ....

If your phone cant find a network or network is falling you have to recalculate FAID with Logger. regards
