cant unlock CSI eeprom

regards to all!

i have encountered a 5110 v5.28 with 'CSI 24wc16' eeprom and it cant be unlocked using the 6&7 trick..does anyone have experience with this?

ok, so not all CSI eeprom cannot be unlocked..ive unlocked other fones with the same chip, but with a trick..first do the usual pin-shorting, if not successful, assemble again the fone and factory reset..do again the pin-shorting, if no success, try 10 times pressing 'closed'.. then remove short..then 'closed'..the fone is now open.. http://www.thoic.net/gsm/ubb/wink.gif

if you have other ideas/experience pls post it in the forum,,lets just share ok.. http://www.thoic.net/gsm/ubb/wink.gif

heyyy where have all my msgs gone? i just used the reply with a qoute button, but the quote seem to be the only one to appear...hmmm, and i did not have 2. well not all boards are perfect. anyways:

*-5---6---7--8-*
* CSI *
* 24WC16JI *
* OO15D *
*x *
*-1---2---3--4-*

above is my fone's eeprom. its a 5110 sw 5.28 NSE-1. STRYKER, is this the same with what you had posted above?

lets say i have more than 1 lock "closed", which "closed" button should i start pressing 10 times? a detailed procedure on going about this would be highly appreciated. thanks in advance.

I have another one ,
When I short pin 6and7 it's shows
funny imei ,unlock very good ,and shows
that all locks are open ,but when I
switch off phone put sim card it's locked,
read info from phone it's locked again!

Stryker 08-19-2000 11:08

yes thats the same eeprom. if u have more than 1 lock, unlock the others first last is lock 1 (3,2,4,1). try by 5 times pressing 'closed' for each lock..if not, repeat. still not, 10 times! ive tested it..

igor_m 08-19-2000 17:16

can u explain more about it ,I tried
10 time ,5 times ,it's all like one,
unlock - after swithch off - on locked
againg.
I tried many method to unlock CSI , and
found wich working 100% on all phones I
unlocked , but that pnly one phone
I can't unlock.
If CSI eeporm after pin shorting 6&7 shows
funny imei - it's mean not OK .

Stryker 08-20-2000 13:00

yes its the same eeprom. if more than 1 lock, do the sequence (3,2,4,1) with 5 times each. if failed repeat 5 times for each lock. if not 10 times. it works. ive tested it... http://www.thoic.net/gsm/ubb/wink.gif
